Cowboy Records’ (Burbank) first signed artist, Country Music Singer/Songwriter, Hoyt Hughes, wins Pro Cowboy Country Music Award for “New Cowboy Country Star Of The Year 2018” and releases new three song cowboy western EP, entitled “The Code.”

BURBANK, CA, December 06, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — Cowboy Records (Burbank) a division of Production Partners, Inc., is proud to announce their first signed artist, Hoyt Hughes, has won the Pro Cowboy Country Music Award for “New Cowboy Country Star Of The Year.” The PCCAA awards show was pre-taped in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and aired on the exciting new RFD TV Cowboy Channel, on Dec. 5th 2018. Hoyt Hughes soulfully performed the song “Red White Blue” from his 2016 album “Cowboy” on the awards program prior to winning the award in his category.

Newly released at the awards weekend in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the three song EP “The Code” is a representation of the authentic cowboy western music being preserved by the PCCAA. Founder of the PCCAA, Royal Wade Kimes (legendary cowboy singer/songwriter/recording artist) gently guided Cowboy Records and Hoyt Hughes into the genre, which maintains its roots within the western communities based on the belief system and creative perceptions of the original cowboy way.

The new EP release is Executive Produced by Keith Truesdell (VP), and Produced by Sandy Chanley (CEO), of Cowboy Records, a division of the Emmy Award Winning television company, Production Partners, Inc. All songs co-written by Chanley and Hughes as a new genre of songwriting for the team. Hoyt Hughes beautifully interprets the lead vocals. Mixed and Mastered by Grammy Winning, Tom Weir, of Studio City Sound in Studio City, CA.

Notable contributions to the short album are by guitarist, Rob Math (Rock Godz Hall of Fame 2018), Ryan Mascilak (Musical Director of Saint Finbar Church in Burbank, CA) and Phil Parlapiano (accordion/harmonica, Rod Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi).

Songs on the EP are entitled: “The Code” “Santa Rosa” and “Cowboys Ain’t Quitters.” The songs are dedicated to the ideals of Royal Wade Kimes and his mission to keep cowboy western music alive.
